FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you a management company?
Not yet. We currently provide online listings opportunities, resources, and talent development.  Together with our networks and associates we provide promotional support for aspiring and established talent.

‘Talent Development’ what does that mean?
It means we do things like workshops, seminars, promo shoots, mentorship projects, talent campaigns and a lot more. We help strengthen raw talent with industry techniques and effective career planning. You need more than just talent to be successful you need professional skills, effective promotions, a strong network and more.

Why do I see artists on here if you are not a management company?
The artists listed with us are the ones we decide to promote as our featured talent. They are selected based on their commitment to their career and community contributions.

I have Native talent how can I be involved?
We list anyone for free on our database page (coming soon), as long as you have at least 3 years recognized career experience. To apply to be listed: submit your bio, pics and contact info. You can also be a featured artist, where we make and list your banner on our main page, develop and design your own webpage complete with interactive media, photos, bio and links to all your social sites. We also provide campaign tools like print and digital posters complete with html linking to your site, great for myspace.

How do I apply to be a featured artist?
Submit to us in writing, the following: Your bio, Talent samples (photos, music etc), Media clips, tears sheets etc. If you do not have any of this, chances are you need some development help.

Is there a fee to be a featured artist?
Yes. We cannot simply design pages for everyone for nothing, this is not a non-profit organization and monster corporations do not fund us. You can either make a payment to us (we are affordable) or you can donate your talent service. Cost is not relevant as it is considered a straight barter for talent and service. Your talent service has to be completed in our location of choice (we will cover travel expenses), and every effort must be made to meet our schedule. If barter has not been complied within an agreed amount of time, the artist will owe the amount as per featured artist, no exceptions.

Do you have connections with the media?
Absolutely. We have been connected to our grassroots firms all the way to the mainstream big boys for over a dozen years. We have several specialists on our team that have professional experience, direct media contacts and of course we have our own current national (and some international) media database that helps when we do campaign announcements for talent.

Do you guys hire people?
Yes. We sub contract talent, facilitators, graphic artists, stylists, production staff and other related types. We also do alot of referrals and establish 'connections'. Depending on which city, town or community. You can apply by submitting a resume to: Be sure to put RESUME in subject header and state your expected (daily) rate of pay. Producers deal with tough, rough and sometimes fragile budgets so we need to know in advance what people expect before we contact them with a suitable project.

Natives Helping Natives Policy:
If you need help with a certain project, campaign or community event, let us know. We lend our volunteer efforts to worthy causes. Our main social priorities are: cancer, suicide prevention, environment and youth at risk. You are encouraged to submit a proposal to us.
